10 He comes from a world that can loosely be described as Judge Dredd meets Frank Miller's Sin City. Ryan Wolfe will tell you it's a commentary about prison reform and anarchy. In reality it's just an excuse to draw a big angry dude who saves women with big boobs. Although it wasn't always, but Ryan Wolfe's attempts at creating something better out of his series have...failed. Significantly.

09.Trace was born Michael Blackwood, an orphan from K block designed to train scientists, lawyers, police, and judges for City 01. The City is one of 6 created in the great boiling of the planet where the rich fled to the moon and rule from space. He discovered this and went crazy, killing the city's shadow government in viciously brutal ways. As punishment he was locked up in the "tubes", a form of jail, and forced to relive his crimes.

08. He went crazy and forgot his name until he was rescued by Veronica Cartwright, a reporter from B block who saved him and helped him recover himself. He picked his name, Trace Bullet, from a blacked out report that had those two words on it. Eventually they adopted a child, Arnold, and found a patrolman, Kyle Sharpe, who became Trace's best friend.

07. Trace was kidnapped by Triad gang members Yin and Yang. He was experimented on and injected with an experimental steriod/opiod compound called "X" that gave him super strength, enhanced senses, and enhanced musculature. He became addicted to it, seeking further genetic modifications. Ultimately the X helped deprogram him and revealed that he was Blackwood, the cop who went mad, called "the lone wolf" who killed the shadow government.

06. As a consequence, he killed Arnold (flayed him alive in an X-induced high.), beat Veronica senseless, nearly killed Kyle, and vowed to bring order to the city as it's new leader. Kyle and Veronica brought him down and shot him - forcing him into a vat of chemicals that fused the X in his system with his DNA making him a nearly unstoppable killing machine. The unfortunate side effect was burns over all of his body. Calling himself Mask, he became a crime lord, unleashing a plague of freaks on the city.

05. Trace Bullet is not real. He is a subspecies of humanity called Homo Simulcra, a tulpa, or more accurately "a thought form." A being made out of a biological response from the human beings in his world that has the imprinted memories of his creator, Pulp Comic creator "Ryan Wolfe" creator of Bullet Traces.

04. He was "grown" in this world with the help of his creator (Wolfe), the frequencies who brought him to life, and the incubator - the actor Marcus Sparks. His biomatter was surgically implanted into sparks until was removed 3 days before shooting. He was grown and his burns were healed by the Hive, a race of aliens who intended to send him to an alternate dimension where he would do battle against the plague, the enemy of the hive.

03. He broke out before they finished healing the burns to his body leaving him with large scars across his face and exposed skin down his left arm, leaving him with a fleshy skeleton hand. He normally wears a glove over it. The X has still been fused to his system however leaving him with enough strength to lift up the edge of cars, punch metal, and generally be very, very hard to put down.

02. Trace comes from a world where mankind has been conquered by aliens - thousands of years before they knew what aliens were. Crate- or creativity was used to modify human beings DNA. For thousands of years, mankind has been breeding beings like Trace through art, culture, prayer, and belief for use in the Hive's war against the plague. He's simply one of the latest in a long line of creations like Sol, also known as Professor Jason Woodward, the host for the Sun God, Inky - the beloved cartoon mascot of Jungle Follies, and more. His sponsor is Tak-Sa, a tree ship mystic turned medic.

01. He is essentially a hero turned villain who is forced to deal with the idea that his entire existance was the product of a guy who probably needed a ton of therapy.
